WHO WE ARE
Cassandra Rudge
Cassandra Rudge began her career as an event manager before transitioning to a role as a radio presenter with CNA938. She later shifted her focus to screenwriting and filmmaking in 2019, co-founding the film and TV production company FoundFilms with her business partner, Aizuddiin Nasser.
Their first project, an award-winning short film titled "Not Fair," was inspired by Cassandra's personal experiences with colorism, a topic she frequently and passionately addresses. Her second script, "Lockdown," was produced during the COVID-19 lockdown and received high praise from industry peers.
Cassandra also wrote, produced, and acted in "Not Fair: The Web Series," which was funded by the Ministry of Culture, Community & Youth.
In 2023, FoundFilms launched the (+65) Film Project, aimed at elevating the Singapore film industry through relevant events, culminating in a film festival scheduled for 2025. Her goal is to promote diversity, equal representation, and inclusion through her work.
